TitleON SOME METHOD FOR THE CALCULATION OF FIRST NATURAL FREQUENCY OF STEEL COLUMNS IN FORM OF TUBES SHAPED LIKE A CONE
AutorJacek Jaworski
Pages3–15
KeywordsKeywords: steel column, post, natural period, first natural frequency
AbstractShow abstract
Formulas for calculations of the first natural frequency (of transverse vibrations) for tube columns shaped like a cone with variable wall thickness are derived. Some approximated method for calculations of the natural period for columns and towers is employed. The general solution for some integrals involved in the obtained formulas is unknown and thus numerical calculations are necessary. The case of a tube shaped like a cone with constant wall thickness was also resolved.

TitleGLAZINGS IN ARCHITECTURE OF LOW-ENERGY CONSUMING SMALL DWELLING HOUSE
AutorMirosława Górecka
Pages17–26
Keywordsbuilding architecture, low energy consumption, glazed areas
AbstractShow abstract
The energy saving in old small dwelling houses accomplished through their appropriate location, simple architecture and small window area, through which a significant heat loss occurred. In present times, there is not such limitations. It is possible to realize low-energy consuming houses and, simultaneously, optimally glazed and opened to surroundings. Thanks to high thermo-insulating power as well as high solar radiation transmittance windowpanels which decrease heat losses from heated interiors, it is possible to make an elevation with big glazed areas. The paper presents modern solutions of glazings, their role in the passive consumption of the solar energy and, most of all, in creation of architecture of a low-energy consuming small dwelling house, taking into consideration, among others, hothouses as well as glazed façade and roof systems.

TitleSHAPING OF SPATIAL ORDER THROUGH ACTS ON SPATIAL PLANNING ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE SEROCK MUNICIPALITY
AutorAgata Pawłat-Zawrzykraj, Karolina K. Swornik
Pages27–37
Keywordsspatial planning, spatial order, local spatial management plans, municipality
AbstractShow abstract
The article presents the Acts on spatial planning considered to be the main tool of introducing spatial order into the local land-use development. In the next step, the Se-rock Municipality was presented, which is the positive example of the municipality where almost whole area is covered by current spatial management plans. The research problem is whether the implementation of these plans provides the spatial development of municipalities with the principles of spatial order.

TitleORGANIGRAM, A PLAN OF BUILDING THE NATIONAL STADIUM
AutorAneta Ziółkowska
Pages39–49
Keywordsorganigram, organizational structure, organizational chart, ties in the organization
AbstractShow abstract
This paper describes a role of organigram in managing the whole project. The concept of “organigram” is derived from German and means an organization chart. It operates in our society recently, when on Polish market began to appear consortia of Polish – German relations. In order to described it role the organizational structure and organizational chart being quoted. Types of bonds and relationships between the elements of organizational structure were presented. The analysis was performed on the example of the organizational chart of the National Stadium in Warsaw.

TitleMOISTURE CONDITIONS AND CORROSION DESTRUCTION OF STEEL ELEMENTS OF TROUGHS IN THE EXPERIMENTAL FARM OF SWINE
AutorHenryk Żelazny
Pages51–57
Keywordselectrochemical corrosion, steel, troughs, inventory buildings
AbstractShow abstract
Abstrakt: In buildings for animals’ industrial fattening, where the relative moisture of air amount to 80–90%, and the atmosphere contains considerable quantities of NH3, CO2 and H2S, there exist the favourable conditions for quick corrosion of steel units. The conducted research in the experimental farm of swine applied to forming of the relative moisture of air and the level of destruction of steel units of troughs, which were caused by electrochemical corrosion. It was found that there were considerable damages of steel dams almost in all playpens, together with several cases of bursting of rods in places with the largest corroding. The gigantic moisture of air caused acceleration of these corrosive processes in building, in autumn-winter period exceeding even 80%.
