TitleHEAT CONDUCTION IN PERIODICALLY MULTICOMPONENT MEDIA
AutorMarcin Piwowarski
Pages3–13
Keywordsheat conduction, multicomponent conductors, averaged models
AbstractShow abstract
The paper presents construction of an averaged model of heat conduction in multicomponent, layered and skeletal conductors. A method of selection of shape function was described for initial-boundary problems. Selected non-stationary problems were solved including determination of the influence of variable values of the coefficient of heat conduction as well as the influence of variable dimensions of a microstructure cell on the heat conduction.

TitleTOLERANCE MODELLING OF HEAT CONDUCTION IN PERIODICALLY NON-HOMOGENEOUS MATERIALS
AutorTomasz Jurczak
Pages15–28
Keywordsheat conduction, non-homogeneous conductors, homogenization
AbstractShow abstract
The paper concerns heat flow modeling in chosen periodically non-homogeneous materials. There will be applied the tolerance averaging technique to construct an averaged model of heat conduction for periodically multilayered materials. The set of equations in the constructed model will be simpler than the classical set of Fourier’s equations. Apart of that, analytical solutions of chosen initial-boundary problems will be shown and experimentally verified.

TitleON A CERTAIN MODEL OF HEAT CONDUCTION IN LAMINATED MEDIA WITH INTERLAMINAR DEFECTS
AutorBeata Kufel
Pages29–37
Keywordsheat conduction, the local homogenization, composite, interlaminar defects
AbstractShow abstract
In this contributions, the object of analysis will be restricted to the heat conduction in two component laminates with a periodic structure. The non-ideal contact between adjacent laminae is modelled by a sufficiently thin interlaminar layer made of an extra material with a sufficiently small heat conductivity when compared to lamina materials. The aim of this presentation is to propose a refined version of the aforementioned modelling procedure in which its justification is included into the obtained model equations.

TitleTRANSIENT ANALYSIS OF HEAT CONDUCTION IN PERIODICAL LAYERED COMPOSITES
AutorVazgen Bagdasaryan
Pages39–49
Keywordslayered composites, Fourier’s law, tolerance averaging
AbstractShow abstract
The subject of the paper are periodical layered composites. It is assumed that the components of the composites are homogeneous. The work consists in forming a model of heat conduction in which the Fourier equation with discontinuous highly oscillating coefficients was substituted with an equation with constant coefficients. The influence of the conductor on the temperature is described with additional functions which are determined knowing the averaging temperature. The paper deals with transient problems. Further research will be done on thermal stresses in such cases.

TitleANALYSIS FOR AREA OF BOUNDARY LAYER EFFECT IN COMPOSITES WITH LONGITUDINAL AND TRANSVERSAL GRADATION OF PROPERTIES
AutorJoanna Witkowska-Dobrev
Pages51–61
Keywordslongitudinal gradation property, transverse gradation property, the asymptotic tolerance averaging, the effect of boundary layer
AbstractShow abstract
The effect of boundary layer for multilayered wall with transversal and longitudinal gradation of effective properties was for stationary elastic problems was investigated. Every layer of considered wall was made of two isotropic, homogeneous elastic materials. The considerations were reduced to the plane strain problem. The adopted model was based on the method of asymptotic tolerance averaging. The influence of structure of composites for the area of boundary layer effect was discussed.

TitleON THE MODELLING OF NONHOMOGENEOUS ELASTIC PLATES
AutorJarosław Zieliński
Pages63–79
Keywordselastic plates, layered plates, constraints, modelling
AbstractShow abstract
The paper presents the solution of layered plates arbitrary load on the upper the lower surface. It is assumed that the plates can by combination of both orthotropic and isotropic layers and that the division of plates into layers can by nonsymmetric. This model ensures continuity of statical and kinematical values on the surface of the division of the plate into the layers. This can be developed by introduction into the description additional functions called correctors. These functions together with displacements of the division surfaces and with given functions describing the displacements on the thickness of plate are used for the construction of the some form of constrains for the three dimensional displacements of the plate. The method for solutions of composite plates is illustrated by the example of the three-layered free supported rectangular plate under the load at the upper surface.

TitleRESEARCH OF COMPOSITE COMBINED PRESTRESSED CONSTRUCTIONS
AutorIvan Ivanyk, Yuriy Vybranets, Yuriy Ivanyk
Pages81–88
Keywordscomposite construction, prestressed construction, combined construction
AbstractShow abstract
For the economy of material in composite building constructions of ceiling and coverage prestressing of a lower subdiagonal is used. To simplify the process of optimal cross-section elements selection in the combined subdiagonal systems and their geometrical descriptions equation of a strain unbreak has been used. The example of the 6m span combined steel construction calculation that works in composition of the monolithic reinforce-concrete ceiling has been executed with the prestressing of a lower subdiagonal and the analysis of the results. As the research has shown, prestressing in such a construction allows decreasing a cut of an upper steel beam by 20–24%.

TitleSTRESS-DEFORMATION STATE OF COMPOSITE STEELCONCRETE CONSTRUCTIONS AT RESILIENT AXIS POSITION CHANGE
AutorIvan Ivanyk, Svitlana Vihot
Pages89–98
Keywordsresilient axis, composite constructions, equation of strain continuity
AbstractShow abstract
Calculation of combined steel-concrete structures shall be conducted in stages. Before monolithic slab concrete gains strength, metal structure is the only structure part that carries loading of its own weight. However, after concrete gains strength, the whole calculated loading is carried by whole reinforced monolithic concrete slab where axis position changes. The article describes main principles of the technique of imaginary hinges installation for the forces calculation in static indefinite continuous structures under conditions of mathematical axis position change in stiffening girder. That enables to simulate the stress-deformation state in the combined structures elements at the initial design stage. This technique is used for the calculation and results analysis for combined structure with composite reinforced concrete top band and steel suspension taking into account of their work stages.

TitleEXPERIENCE IN STRENGTHENING TECHNOLOGICAL FOUNDATION AND MONOLITHIC REINFORCED RETAINING WALL IN BUILDING INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES FOR PRODUCTION FACILITIES EXPANSION
AutorVadym Kahanov, Yaroslav Ivanyk, Igor Lichnov, Bogdan Nazariewicz
Pages99–108
Keywordsreinforced concrete structures, retaining wall, technological foundations, reverse abutment
AbstractShow abstract
The article contains experience in strengthening critical large-cast reinforced concrete monolith structures under heavy-load conditions on the operating construction enterprise. Herewith measures aimed to strengthen reinforced concrete loading ramp retaining wall resulted in the change of operation scheme as flagstone with outline abutment to classic operation scheme of retaining wall with reverse transom. All the main stages of the strengthening process technique are described in detail, in particular starting from the examination stage of the structure mode of deformation, its monitoring during implementation of works, and ending with stage of exploitation of both reinforced concrete technological foundations and retaining wall under operational loadings.
