Abstract
In the conditions of pig breeding farms insufficient transfer of colostrum immunity onto the progeny is a frequently encountered problem, therefore application of preparations containing (in their composition) immoglobulins brings about increase of protective antibodies circulating in a piglet’s organism. Application of the preparations containing in their composition fractions of immunoglobulins in experimental conditions caused increase cells of white blood system. Similarly, changes in the concentration of albumins and fractions α-, β- and γ-globulin as compared to the control group, were observed. Concentration of antibodies IgA, IgM and IgG against E. coli, Streptococcus suis type 2 and Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae ranged in individual groups, but the observed values were not statistically significant in each of the tested periods.
