The results of research on heat exchange between the hollowed fruit store and the ground and possibilities of adaptation of such objects for cold stores have been presented in this paper. Basis of results of field studies, boundary conditions have been established and three-dimensional, non-stationary heat flows through the partitions and the ground in surroundings of the chamber have been calculated, and after its adaptation for chamber in two alternatives: for existing value of heat resistance of partitions and after its insulating to R = 2,5 m²·K·W^-1.
