Abstract
The goal of this paper is to describe the error sources that may have influence on the accuracy of the determination of the terrain detail whittle GPS RTK survey from the user’s point of view. The error sources can be divided in two groups. First, independent from user. This may be GPS system positioning error, or specific technique errors. Second group of errors are those, which are caused by the user: lack of rod perpendicularity, bad centering of rod, wrong choice of points used for transformation. The above errors are described in this paper with the ways to avoid them or at least minimize their effect.
