Abstract
In the paper there has been presented a concept of a levelling staff equipped with the scale proportionally divided with polymodal optical-fibre. As the purpose of the innovation there is to mention an improvement of the method of pointing and reading of the levelling data under the conditions of restricted area and possible partial inaccessibility of geodetic base points.
