Abstract
The study presents observation results of the condition of tree crowns in 2003 in the following forest divisions: Szprotawa, Lubsko, Złoty Potok, Rudziniec, Strzelce Opolskie, Puławy, Buda Stalowska and Staszów. The total of 2250 trees were assessed and the evaluated trees were growing in pine stands of the IIIrd and IVth age class in the zone of mild, moderate and severe damages. The evaluation was based on studies performed on experimental plots with 25 trees from the main stand.
